Squeal

I got my level 1 Master Knitter submission packet back! I have one swatch to re-do and one question. That's it! Not much at all :) Maybe I'll do it this weekend.

Still working along on the clover shawl. Almost done with the clover leaf pattern repeats. I think I'll finish that this weekend and get on to the eyelet section. I love this yarn.

Hey thanks for visiting my blog. I did not know you could become a Master knitter I knew about Master Gardening but not knitting is it the same concept? Is it local? are there classes? I am finding that I have a lot of questions about this. How did I not know? :) Any way in answer to the question you left on my blog, I did like the pattern I just really am to much of a wus to go that tight when I know that I lean toward loose, so gauge would have been challenging and I really wanted to enjoy the yarn and color. Make sense? This is a really long comment sorry about that. I'll try not to be so long winded next time.

Hey Laura,

I don't know much about Master Gardening, but I think it might be similar. It's not a local program; it's through The Knitting Guild of America(http://www.tkga.com). You send off for instructions and pay a fee. Then when you've completed a bunch of knitting samples, answered questions, and written a report, you submit it and they "grade" it, determining what you need to improve on before they will pass you.

There are 3 levels. I'm just finishing my resubmits for level 1 now, then I'll be off to level 2.
